It has been a really unfamiliar time for all of us.

Lockdown restrictions might be relaxing a little bit from Friday 29th of May but for many; home working and home schooling is still ongoing therefore keeping the kiddies busy and learning is a key priority.

When I first saw on social media that many of the staff within the charity had become furloughed and were not aloud to volunteer for the charity they worked for I really wanted to do something to help. Fundraising is my absolute passion after all and I have been doing it since I was 5 years young!

I set up this short poetry competition mid lockdown with the aim to support The children at the hospital who benefit from the work that The ARCHIE Foundation do and also to provide an educational activity to entertain the younger children who are missing school and need something to focus during these odd times.
