Helllooo it’s Chlooo!
I am feeing really fresh today because I started my 2.6 challenge today! 🙂

I have decided to put my lockdown time to good use by jumping on the 2.6 challenge band waggon. (Fundraising is my absolute passion after all and has been since I was 5 years old!) You can read about that here. 🙂 I have chosen to fundraise for Friends of Anchor. Many of you know that I have fundraised for Friends of Anchor before; as it is a charity that is really close to my heart. 💓
“Friends of ANCHOR has served oncology and haematology patients throughout the North-east of Scotland, including Orkney and Shetland, since the ANCHOR Unit opened in 1997.”

The Impact Friends of Anchor has had on my family: For those of you who don’t know in 2016 the wellbeing staff at Friends of Anchor made the last few weeks of my Grandmother’s life on the Anchor Unit more comfortable. The wellbeing staff spent time with my Grandma on her ward by doing her hair and nails and simply took some time to have a cuppa and keep her company during a traumatic time. It is hard to believe that this was 4 years ago, it genuinely does not feel that long ago. 😔 I am forever thankful to Friends of Anchor ❤

What does my 2.6 challenge involve?
It is simple: I will cycle 2.6 miles for 26 days 🙂

However, the fundraising does not stop there- oh no!! I have some other exciting fundraising activities up my sleeve! 😉 To be revelled soon!
I would be really grateful if you could help me in supporting this amazing charity during this really tough time! This charity provides vital wellbeing, care, research and equipment to support many patients across the North-east of Scotland and will continue to do so though the Covid-19 pandemic. For many Covid-19 this is an added burden for cancer patients.
Every little penny makes an amazing difference!
Whether it is £2.60 or £26 – any amount is gratefully appreciated and will go a long way in keeping this well loved charity a float! 🙂
